Volunteers' Corner

Dear Volunteers,

First of all, we would like to say thank you very much to those of you who helped out at the 2009 Horse-A-Fair. It was a great success and, as always, we could not have pulled it off without your help!

You probably noticed we did not have a Tricky Tray at the Horse-A-Fair this year. This is because we will be holding a separate Tricky Tray event at the Delaware Valley High School on October 24th from 4pm-8pm. We will need lots of help for this upcoming fundraiser — starting now! We need Tricky Tray Baskets! Information and instructions for the baskets can be found on the website in the “Downloads” link. If you can donate one or more tricky trays, that would be a great way to help! Any help you can do for us is greatly appreciated!

Session 5 has started and the schedule can also be found on our website in the “Downloads” link. Volunteers are always welcome, so please call us with your availability.

The next Volunteer Trainings will be held on September 5th, October 3rd and November 7th: 12:30pm-2:30pm. This training will cover Beginner as well as Grooming. In order to take the Grooming portion you have to volunteer consecutively for at least 2 sessions, please call 570-409-1140 if you are interested.

And please note that Ms. Martha has December plans for all you volunteers, so keep checking the volunteer schedule page!
