How you can help G.A.I.T. keep program fees as low as possible for riders who use our services.

G.A.I.T. charges families who use its services approximately 50% of the actual cost of running these programs. G.A.I.T.'s Board of Directors get the other 50% from grants, donations, memberships and fundraisers. Because our Board of Directors are committed to helping the most people in our community that they can, they actively seek alternative funding sources to keep G.A.I.T.'s program fees as low as possible.

You too can help!

Another way to sponsor a rider is to donate to the "Jean Work Scholarship" Fund. Jeanie always believed that anyone and everyone could benefit from therapeutic riding.

Therefore, a special fund was initiated by Allen and Wendy Kaplan in her name. All money donated to the Jean Work Scholarship Fund is used specifically for riders who can not otherwise afford to pay for a therapeutic riding session.

In 2009, 8 scholarships were awarded through the Jean Work Scholarship Fund.
